Peonies and placecards.

I’ve yet to see peonies in Hong Kong yet and, boy, have I missed them! Luckily, I got a nice dose of them last night because I’m back in SF for a little minted work this week, including hosting a dinner with some of my favorite bloggers in the whole world–talk about hostessing pressure!

I had Neil Hunt of Hunt Littlefield take care of the flowers (he is amazing) and then I did something fun… we were curious about what these so-in-the-know bloggers thought were big stationery trends so I offered the centerpieces up to the best answers. Three ladies walked away very happy with these beauties.

The gathering was at Flour+Water‘s Dough Room. If you ever need to host a private event in SF I highly recommend it! Or if you’re ever looking for an incredible meal… and have time to wait in line (they don’t take reservations–they even turned down Steve Jobs!), the food is awesome.

One fun idea I had thought I thought I would share with you is using stationery as a combo placecard and party favor.

You can check out more pics on my Minted post here.

By the way, did you know that just last weekend Minted launched international shipping?!? So now you can buy these beauties wherever you are.
