Gone baking.

I have been baking up a storm and am so excited for tomorrow. We’re so grateful to ALL of our wonderful sponsors who have signed up to help us out and to all of our volunteer bakers. If you’re in Hong Kong, PLEASE stop by tomorrow.

We are very thankful to all of the local media who have shown their support! Sassy Mama, Dim Sum and Then Some, Yummy Mummy, Hong Kong Madame and the South China Morning Post. We hope it gets this cause the turn-out it deserves!

The South China Morning Post made us send in a picture of us together so we took these!
Staging a photo shoot of yourself is HORRIBLE. I feel beyond lucky to have met such an AMAZING partner in Diane. She has been fabulous and completely dependable.
Cupcakes are much prettier! Here are some of the many I’ve been working on…
Pics of the event to come next week. Wish us luck tomorrow!

  1. >> … We are all 大毒草, HAHA!Hey, Exile, what are you smoking there ?? Speak for yosleurf XD !!!! Okay, seriously ….>> … 叫 大毒草 是否已經很 mild 的呢 Space: Yes, and no. One could say the labelling was “mild” since Hong Kongers were not forced to kneel on broken glasses 跪玻璃, unlike some of those who had been labelled 大地主 inside mainland China. It was also “severe” since there were IEDs (improvised explosive devices 土製菠蘿) that caused injuries and deaths to police and civilians alike on the streets.>> … 香港有沒有淪為 反革命基地 No. Most of the HK ppl had no intention of overthrowing the PRC. But those who wanted the HK colonial govt to stay were being labelled as “imperialist running dogs 帝國主義走狗” and “anti-revolutionaries 反革命分子”.

  4. Pic number 3 is very intnrestieg… there’s a slotted-array radar peeking out of the nose of those Z-9’s.That’s probably not a Western-designed radar, like the original, but likely a entirely new indigenous, Chinese design. This provides further evidence of the continuous localization of military equipment and production.

These men were definitely glad to study them and have certainly been loving them. Thank you for simply being considerably helpful and for making a choice on these kinds of quality subject areas millions of individuals are really desperate to discover. Our sincere apologies for not saying thanks to you earlier.
